Helen is much admired and loved locally as people remember her fondly from the 1980s when she worked for Anglia Television as an announcer, Birthday Club presenter and news anchor.
Since then, Helen's love of theatre has expanded into OhYesitiz Productions where it's clear to see her fondness of pantomime productions with award-winning actor, Des Barrit. Helen has supported the Public Hall as compère for the evening at our popular Comedy Nights - she's an excellent raconteur and has had the Beccles audience in stitches! Helen is very supportive of the arts scene in this region and she has been very helpful to Beccles Public Hall.
"It's a lovely venue and I very much enjoy supporting the work they do" said Helen. On agreeing to be Patron for the Hall, Helen said: " I'd be delighted to be a patron with Roy Hudd and Martin Bell. It's an honour to be asked".
